We help the backbone of America's economy fill their calendars with real, ready-to-hire customers using paid ads paired with a done-for-you CRM and follow-up system. We've grown to 35+ clients and are scaling fast.

About the Role

Our marketing agency specializes in paid ads. Our current clients have frequently requested SEO services. This role is focussed around launching and fulfilling that SEO service. You'll build and run our SEO + AI search service from the ground up.

The reality of the work: roughly 80% is traditional SEO done well: technical health, on-page optimization, content, and authority. The other 20% is the layer that's becoming non-negotiable: structuring a client's website, Google Business Profile, and schema so they're cleanly crawled and cited by AI search engines. We're making sure every client is genuinely relevant in the AI era and giving them the best possible shot at showing up where buyers are actually looking.

SEO is a long game, and we treat it like one. You'll set honest expectations, build 6-to-9-month roadmaps, and stack compounding wins that make clients incredibly happy with the results.

Position Details

• Role: SEO & AI Search Specialist (SEO / AEO / GEO)
• Location: Remote, US only
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm U.S. Eastern Time
• Annual Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience)
• Experience range: 2 to 5+ years in SEO. Strong mid-level candidates with a clear portfolio welcome.

What You'll Do

• Run end-to-end SEO programs for local service business clients: keyword research, technical audits, on-page optimization, content, and authority building.
• Own the technical foundation. Site structure, page speed, indexation, internal linking, and clean schema markup so search engines (and AI engines) understand exactly what each business does and where.
• Optimize for AI search (AEO / GEO). Structure websites, content, and Google Business Profiles so clients surface in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity results, not just classic blue links.
• Write and brief SEO content that ranks and reads well. This role is copy-heavy. You'll produce or direct service pages, location pages, blog content, and metadata grounded in what real customers search for.
• Build the roadmap. Create clear 6-to-9-month SEO plans per client, set expectations early, and keep clients confident through the build phase.
• Report on what matters. Track rankings, organic traffic, visibility, AI citations, and leads. Turn the data into a clear next action.
• Optimize and iterate. Find what's working, double down, document learnings, and make the program sharper every month.
• Support our own growth. Lead SEO and AI-search efforts for Local Legend and AdClass in addition to client work.

What We're Looking For

• 2 to 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a portfolio or case studies you can show.
• Strong English writing, written and verbal. This role lives in copy, so clarity and quality matter a lot.
• Technical and content SEO fluency. Comfortable with schema, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics (GA4), and Search Console.
• Tooling. Experience with platforms like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
• Curiosity about AI search. You understand (or are hungry to master) AEO/GEO and how AI engines surface and cite businesses. You see where this is going and you want to be early.
• Comfortable building with AI. You use AI tools to work faster and better, and you're excited to develop repeatable systems for the team.
• Self-starter who owns outcomes. You don't wait to be told what to do — you bring hypotheses and ship.
