About the Role

We're looking for an experienced AI/LLM Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-ready AI agents powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building intelligent conversational agents using ChatGPT/OpenAI APIs, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), integrating external tools, and developing real-time voice AI applications.

This role requires someone who has shipped AI products—not just experimented with prompts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents using OpenAI GPT models and other leading LLMs
• Build conversational AI systems capable of reasoning, tool use, memory, and workflow automation
• Develop voice AI agents with real-time speech-to-text and text-to-speech capabilities
• Integrate AI agents with APIs, CRMs, databases, and third-party services
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using vector databases
• Optimize prompts, agent workflows, latency, and model performance
• Develop multi-agent systems when appropriate
• Deploy AI applications to cloud environments
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve AI performance in production
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable AI solutions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years building applications with Large Language Models
• Strong experience with:
• OpenAI API / ChatGPT
• GPT-4.x and newer models
• AI agent frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK, CrewAI, or similar)
• Python
• REST APIs
• JSON
• Git
• Experience implementing:
• Function calling / tool calling
• RAG architectures
• Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Qdrant, FAISS, etc.)
• Prompt engineering
• Conversation memory
• Experience deploying AI applications to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Voice AI Experience (Required)

Candidates should have experience building voice agents using technologies such as

• OpenAI Realtime API
• Twilio Voice
• ElevenLabs
• Deepgram
• AssemblyAI
• LiveKit
• Vapi
• Bland AI
• Retell AI
• Daily
• Whisper or comparable speech recognition systems

Experience building phone agents, customer support agents, appointment booking systems, or sales voice assistants is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Experience with autonomous AI agents
• Knowledge of AI evaluation frameworks
• Docker and Kubernetes

• Event-driven architectures
• Experience building SaaS AI products

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRMs

Within the first 90 days, you'll:

• Build production-ready AI agents
• Launch at least one voice AI solution
• Improve agent accuracy and response quality
• Integrate AI with our internal systems
• Help establish best practices for AI development

Preferred Candidates

We're especially interested in engineers who have built and deployed real-world AI agents using OpenAI, LangGraph, or similar technologies, and who have experience with production voice AI systems. If you can demonstrate live AI applications you've built, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per month

Work Location: Remote
