SiteLevel Location: Remote (U.S.) Compensation: $180K–$220K + up to 1% equity

Role Overview

SiteLevel is looking for a Senior AI Agent Engineer to lead the design and development of production-grade AI agent systems. As one of the first technical hires, you'll own the AI architecture, work directly with the founders, and build scalable AI solutions for enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI agent systems at production scale.
• Own the complete agent stack, including orchestration, tool calling, memory, RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Collaborate closely with founders to define AI strategy and product roadmap.
• Deliver high-quality AI features in a fast-paced startup environment.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience shipping complete AI agent systems to real users.
• Strong expertise in LLM orchestration, RAG, prompt engineering, and multi-step AI workflows.
• Startup or early-stage company experience preferred.
• Technical degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
