About the Role

Classover is looking for enthusiastic and experienced part-time online teachers to join our team. We are currently hiring teachers in the following subject areas:

• Math (K–12)
• Middle School & High School Science
• Coding
• Robotics / AI

Candidates may apply to teach one or more subject areas based on their experience and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive online lessons to K–12 students.
• Explain concepts clearly and adapt instruction to different learning levels.
• Encourage student participation and maintain an engaging virtual classroom environment.
• Provide constructive feedback and support students’ academic progress.
• Maintain a consistent and reliable teaching schedule.
• Use Classover’s online teaching platform and follow instructional guidelines.

Subject-Specific Qualifications

Math

• Strong knowledge of K–12 mathematics.
• Ability to teach subjects such as elementary math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and other advanced math courses depending on experience.
• AMC or other competition-math experience is a plus.

Science

• Experience teaching Middle School and/or High School Science.
• Strong knowledge in one or more areas such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science.
• Ability to explain scientific concepts clearly to students at different levels.

Coding & Robotics/AI

• Experience with Python and Scratch is required.
• Experience with robotics and project-based STEM learning is highly preferred.
• Experience with TinkerCAD, CodeHS, Arduino, LEGO Robotics, FLL, or other robotics platforms is a plus.
• AI-related teaching or project experience is a plus.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
• Comfortable teaching children and teenagers in an online environment.
• Reliable computer, internet connection, microphone, and camera.
• Teaching certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Schedule

This is a flexible part-time position. Class schedules are based on student enrollment, student demand, and teacher availability. Teachers may provide their regular availability, and classes will be assigned accordingly when available.

Compensation

• Opportunities for additional performance-based bonuses.
• Additional incentives may be available based on teaching hours, attendance, trial-class performance, and teacher level.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
