The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.

• Identifies, analyzes data that's collected, devises methods, develop processes, tools, systems, and machine learning algorithms to instrument of the agency's tax administration. This process transforms raw data into program models and actionable business intelligence. Extracts and interprets findings from various structured and unstructured data sets related to the data science lifecycle. The incumbent is responsible for the development of algorithms and/or tools to support data manipulation and processing as well as the use of data visualization techniques to articulate findings. Uses emerging technology, and various data sources to perform exploratory analyses on new and archival data sources.
