WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Division within Ascend Learning’s Advance Technologies Organization is seeking a motivated, energetic AI Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 with a background in artificial intelligence and software engineering. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing and implementing AI solutions that can scale and drive real-world impact. This internship will provide hands-on experience in AI engineering and an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies.

As an AI Engineer Intern, you will collaborate closely with our team of expert AI Engineers, data scientists, AI architects, and quality engineers. You will contribute to the development and deployment of AI models and systems that power our innovative learning solutions.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position will ideally work hybrid from our Leawood, KS office. Remote candidates will be considered.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to understand business challenges and translate them into technical AI solutions
• Design and develop scalable AI solutions that integrate with our existing products and services.
