Summary

We are seeking an AI Developer to support a transportation agency as it modernizes its operations through Artificial Intelligence, advanced analytics, and intelligent automation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building practical AI solutions that improve business processes, enhance decision-making, and support enterprise modernization initiatives.

Working alongside business analysts, data engineers, technical architects, and government stakeholders, you will help design, develop, and implement AI-powered applications that improve transportation safety, operational efficiency, and organizational knowledge management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

* Design and build AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, or Gemini.

* Develop AI agents and automation workflows to improve business processes.

* Create and enhance AI prototypes, turning concepts into scalable solutions.

* Build API integrations between AI applications and enterprise systems.

* Analyze and prepare data to support AI models and business insights.

* Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and develop AI solutions.

* Support AI initiatives focused on transportation operations, safety, and data modernization.

* Maintain technical documentation and share AI best practices with project teams.
